The client had been sexually assaulted in her own home by a stranger. This was a horrific ordeal and the client was very distressed by what had happened.
The client approached CICA Claims to see if could claim compensation for the assault. She called our CICA helpline, this put her in direct contact with one of our CICA specialists. Hannah talked the client through the process and explained how we can help by taking the burden of the application process away from the client.
The client was signed up with CICA Claims nd had her application completed straight away. A few days after taking instructions from the client we had submitted the client’s application to the CICA.
The client’s application was submitted on 11th December 2019 and we managed to secure an offer for the client just 8 days later on 19th December 2020.
We assessed the offer and explained to the client that this was the correct amount and advised the client to accept the offer. The client was very surprised at how quick she got a settlement and was happy to accept the offer.
This was a record breaking settlement time for our Head of Department, Hannah. Both Hannah and the client were delighted at the speedy outcome. The client was grateful for the help of CICA Claims and that she could now draw a line under the ordeal.
